'dat ass!'

First render back, nice and simple. I loaded up Tasha and droped in my items before starting on my lighting. I set what I thought would have been an OK set of lights but saw my render coming out dark as hell. I then spent about 20 mins changing my light strengths and settings etc but still got the dark renders. I went back to my UE2 for another look and remembered to drop my raytrace length and felt like a total noob(I got owned by max raytrace depth!)! It took me a while to remember where everything was but it was not as bad as I was expecting. Once I got stuck in I found myself instinctivly going to the right places without to much hanging around to think about what and where everything was. Other the frustration of the RTD everything fell into place nicely. I did debate top the shot topless and having Tasha covering herself but in the end I actualy prefered her with her top on. Maybe they let me out of hospital too early?!?!

I have to say, maybe it's just 'cus it's my first render back and the whole thing felt a little like therapy, getting back into the swing of it, but after nearly three years of working with Tasha and building her up from scratch, I still think she renders out great and has a nice natural feel that I wanted to get with her, or maybe it's jus me talking rubbish 'cus my Mother has been filling me with wine all evening...it's probably that.
